Springfield Farm Holiday Pods

Rural-stay photography near the Pentlands

Springfield Farm Holiday Pods commissioned a collection of photographs showing more than the accommodation alone. The brief was to connect the pods with the wider Pentland landscape, farm animals and wildlife guests might experience during a stay.

The project included an initial consultation and four evening visits so I could work with changing light, weather and wildlife activity. The final collection comprised ten edited photographs covering the pods in their landscape, sheep, Highland cattle and local wildlife.

The images were supplied as high-resolution JPEGs and in a presentation portfolio. Springfield Farm has since used them on its website and social media, while several have also been displayed inside the pods.

“Wow Sam! They are amazing. Stunning pictures and very happy with them... Makes us look like Gleneagles or somewhere like that!”
